PREMIUM AGARWOOD
Aquilaria malaccensis — Sumatra, Indonesia
Agarwood is one of the rarest natural materials on earth. It doesn't exist in a healthy tree. It forms only when an Aquilaria tree is wounded, triggering a deep resin response in the heartwood as the tree works to protect itself. That resin, dark and extraordinary, is agarwood. What emerges from struggle becomes something sacred.
Ours is sourced from Sumatra, Indonesia, cold-ground from resin-rich heartwood into powder. When it burns, it releases a warmth that is ancient and unhurried. Woody, quietly sweet, grounding in a way that is almost impossible to describe. It has been used in sacred ceremony for thousands of years across Japan, the Middle East and Asia. We use it because nothing else comes close.
HINOKI
Chamaecyparis obtusa — Kiso, Japan
Hinoki is Japan's most sacred timber. The wood of temples, of imperial palaces, of centuries-old craftsmanship. It grows slowly in the mountains of Kiso, and its oil is steam-distilled from both the heartwood and the leaves, capturing a scent that is clean, forested and quietly euphoric. There is a reason the Japanese have a word "shinrin-yoku"- forest bathing, for the feeling of being held by trees. Hinoki is that feeling.
In Gratitude it acts as a bridge, softening the depth of agarwood, lifting the blend into something luminous.

Every great incense has a layer you can't quite name. This is ours. A proprietary blend of botanicals, ground to powder from sources across multiple origins, it works beneath the surface, rounding the edges, deepening the warmth, holding the whole blend together without ever announcing itself. In the tradition of Japanese incense craft, the herb blend is not an afterthought. It is the quiet foundation everything else rests on.

Care and Directions
Place the incense stick into a stable heat-resistant holder.
Light the tip and allow the flame to burn for a few seconds before gently blowing it out, leaving the ember to softly smoulder and the scent to rise.
Always burn in a well-ventilated area, away from drafts and flammable materials.
Never leave burning incense unattended.
Keep out of reach of children and pets and delicate surfaces.
